TYPE: Received at the Glasgow Botanic Garden from the island of St. Vincent, by favour of the Rev. Landsdown Guilding, and cultivared in the same way as other parasitical Orchidaceae in the stove, L. Guilding s.n. (holotype, K; illustration of type).
